No, they limit what they allow people to do.
Once again ... already said.

(Puts gun to skull) I'm not arguing that. I'm just saying that there's been a natual regression in his abilities due to age.

It has nothing to do with that, though. You haven't seen him to his fullest in WWE, because, they limit what they allow guys to do.
For a while there, Eddie couldn't do the Frog Splash. London isn't allowed the 450 or SSP. Rey probably isn't allowed to do most of his moveset, because of the risk of injury.

Eddie vs Mysterio vs Punk in IWA:MS owned.
It was before Rey joined WWE, so it was KIND of long ago, but not long enough to make a difference.

Ah, but you have to take into account the WWE lifestyle. A doctor once told Test (not exactly the greatest source of wrestling experience) that professional wrestling was the equivalent of being hit at 20 miles an hour with a car. With WWE's schedule, that must make for some pretty bad results.

However, what's the difference between WWE and WCW's schedule? Nothing?
Rey owns. Period. WWE doesn't let him do much, it has nothing to do with age. Done and done.

Yes but in WCW, Rey was in his mid-twenties. He is now in his thirties. I'm not saying that the WWE does not limit his moves (look at the reductions made to London) but that age combined with schedule has something to do with his decrease in talent. It's what happens to most cruiserweights and in honesty most wrestlers. The only ones who seem to get away with it are techs (more to do with skill then stamina) and powerhouses (athleticism was never their gimmick anyway.)

Rey is only 30. I think he just turned 30 in December. Maybe 31.
Either way, you cannot say anything about talent reduction due to age until you see him in an unrestriced environment. Like, say, if he went to TNA, he'd most likely dominate it up.
Also, take into consideration the level of talent he has been working with lately. He went from Juvi and Blitzkrieg in WCW to Mark Henry and Randy Orton in WWE. Come on now. That has something to do with it, as well.

Fair enough. I can't blame Orton, I think he's a great young talent but their styles don't match. Rey would probably be a lot better in TNA or an environment where cruiserweights were not considered a novelty.
But anyway, his ECW match with Psychosis wasn't exactly fantastic. I must admit I don't really like the lucha libre style but for me that match didn't work.

That was in part due to Psychosis kinda sucking it up, as well. The Psycho Guillitine owned my face, though. I don't know, that had a very WWE-ish feel to it as well. The International 3 Way, even. Whatever. ECW owns me.

Psychosis sucked it up in TNA against AJ STYLES, LOW-KI, and JERRY LYNN too. Talk about workrate? I'm not high on Psychosis' ablilties at all.

He's pretty badass. Sucks in WWE, but in ECW, he was amazing.

Yes, I'll agree that WWE's scheduling DOES fuck the guys up and make them not able to work as well. That's not Reys fault, either, it takes a toll on everybody. youtube.com/watch?v=r8yMkIkWiFI&search=punk%20eddie theres Punk vs Rey vs Eddie And Orton isn't the worst but he's pretty meh.
